The water merges with her tears
The girl runs the razor over her wrist
Hoping to see blood
Flowing down the drain
But it's one of those safety ones
The kind that don't cut you
No matter how bad you want then to
So she writes on the wall
In big, nasty letters

I WISH I WAS DEAD

She reads it
And a sob escapes her throat
Because that's not really what she wants at all
So she wipes it off
And writes in small, carefully formed letters

I Wish I Was Happy
