Iambic Pentameter- one of my earliest works

Sun

In Greece it is a blazing chariot,

In China it is a fiery wheel.

To some it is a God's great shining sphere,

Or a torch in a God Messenger's hand.

It comes and goes leaving darkness behind

Bringing up flowers and plants from deep sleep

Hiding in shadow black things of the dark

Casting bright light on shimmering water,

Lighting aflame glistening dew on leaf,

Illuminating bright a spider's web.
