The shadows of your memory,
haunts my destiny, allowed to keep me company.

Was it something that I didn't say?

Remember, when on my knees I pleaded,
a life with you was all I needed.
Yet you rejected, My love, my life, my heart,
Oh, my pride.
Every word I uttered, led me further from your side.

I have grown so much older,
without having you any closer,
and how I've dream,
of what we could have been,
As your shadow grows ever dim.

I've lived with this shattered heart,
I've not allowed my love, for you, to ever part.
It seems my promises to you have all been true,
look at what I have lived through.

Again, my dear, and One last time,
Before, and by my hand, this life is submitted,
My love, pray tell me, has it been Committed?
