A/N- This is a short little story that I wrote about music. I wrote it a few weeks ago and just got around to posting it now. Most people would probably consider it a strange, but I like it and I hope you will too.

Enjoy!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Music is a wonderful thing. It can drowned sorrows, cultivate love, create atmosphere. It can express the greatest joy and the bitterest pain. It can recall the best of memories, or preserve new ones in your mind.

So why does it choose to torture me so? Haunting me night and day, forcing me to remember pain, inspiring hate for those who have wronged me. Will I always live a tortured life?

Love, I have learned, does not conquer all. If it did, you would be beside me now, loving me just as I love you. But hate, not love will prevail. It was hatred that killed our love, and hatred that drives me insane. Hatred for those who drove you to your grave.

Now music governs my life in cruel irony. It is my elixir of life and my worst torment. For music will remind me of you, pushing my mind to the depths of despair and music will call to mind all of the wonderful times we spent together.

Oh music, my twisted friend, must you torment me so?
