I'm Not Sure

Because I'm not thin
And because you're too small
I knew I would win
I didn't know at all

But

If you had a twin
And he was too tall
Would I get him?
Or no one at all?
It's because I'm too tall
And you are too thin
You knew I would crawl
You knew you would win

But

If you would just call
And tell me you win
We'd have figured this out
Before it begins
And no one would hurt
And no one would fall
But now it's my pain
And now it's your fault

But

If you would listen
If you had just called
I'd tell you my side
And you'd be enthralled
I'd tell you my life
I'd tell you my all
I'd heal all your pain
If you would have called

But

You simply did not
You heightened my fall
And now I am stuck
With this burden to haul
Now I'm sure I'm too thin
And I'm sure you're too small
But where to begin?
'Cause I'm not sure at all

Because

I gave you my life
I gave you my all
You gave me my pain
'04 in the fall
That's where it begins
And ends with a fall
You're lost from within
And I'm dead to them all
