I'm lonely
I'm empty inside.
My heart is broken
And from pain
I try to hide
But it follows me everywhere
I cannot escape it
The peace that comes with dieing
Has already raped it
And oh!
How it aches!
The cavernous hole
With creepers and crawlers
Infesting my soul
The blackness
The silence
The lies and the truth
My entire life
Is coming unglued
I've hurt myself
And people around me
But when push comes to shove
They still will stand by me
It makes me feel better
To know that they're there
But the feeling is lost
On my heart
And the fear
I know that it's selfish
I'm not that bad off
But that doesn't change the feeling
And I know that you'll scoff
But it doesn't make it better
A band-aid won't help
Cause I'm bleeding to bad
And you have to protect yourself
