“I love you,” I whispered. He smiled a sweet smile and nodded. My heart pounded in ecstasy. I said it again. “I love you.” My hand brushed against him and my whole body tingled in excitement. I walked away from him, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to contain myself if I remained close to him. “I love you,” I whispered.
His eyes followed me away.
“I love you,” I whispered, clutching my books to my chest as I passed by him in the hall. I smiled at the sight of him and he waved back. I thought I could die of happiness. He turned around back to his group of friends, but I knew that moment was still lingering in his head. I continued walking my way, my steps lighter, and my face brighter.
The smile remained on his face.
“I love you,” I whispered, seeing him as he passed by in his car. The wind blew through his hair causing it to dance in joy at the love I have for him. He caught my standing figure on the sidewalk and raised his hand in greeting. I couldn’t help but giggle at the memory of him today. He makes me so happy.
At the turn at the corner, I saw him look back at me.
“I love you,” I whispered from a far. I’d been watching him for some time now, never having the courage to get closer. He laughed, joked, talked with his friends, all the while not noticing me. But it didn’t matter. “I love you,” I said again, a smile pasted on my face as I saw how happy he was. He embraced his girlfriend in loving arms, softly kissing her neck and whispering in her ear. He is so sweet.
“I love you.”
