Blood stained fingertips

You never learn

Do you?

Love doesn’t equal

Happiness

And there is no happy ending

For girls like us

Girls like us

Who never had a chance in hell

We’re all just a bunch of bullshiters

Eating the crap that we spewed out for years

And we’ve all stolen something

Girls like us?

We’ve stolen lives and memories

That were never ours

You were never in love

And those nights

You spent in his arm

Were nothing but a fantasy

We’re living in a dream world

You and I

Not even in our dream world

But someone else’s dream world

Because we’re just that damn

Unoriginal

A pale imitation

Of a human being

Of a life

Of

A

Dream

The blood you see

Doesn’t give you life

It just sustains you

Girls like us don’t need to live

We’re not beautiful

We’re not special

We wander this place

Just existing

Without being

Without value

Worthless

Girls like us won’t change the world

We’re hardly in it at all

We’ll go on

Whining our self absorbed issues

Writing silly little poems

Hoping

That someone will

Pay attention

To us

Girls like us

Who didn’t bother to exist

At all
