As I sat

What is life?

Is it breath

Is it soul

Is it

The opposite of death

Then I thought

What if it is

What we make

Of it

When I thought

When I felt

When I breathed

I knew

My life

Your life

Are all connected

To it

Call it soul

Call it breath

Call it spirit

And you know

That it's life

Your own life

To make it

Your own

That's what I thought

That's what I felt
