The Meaning of Touch

One gentle caress is all it takes

Ghost-like, breath-like

And I've fallen

It's sinful, unfair

Illicit

and yet so very much pure

Wickedly delicious

Something I can reveal in

Something I can sink in

My eyes close at the mere thought of it

More charming than any smile

More seducing than any kiss

A single finger trailing down my cheek

I crave touch, I always have

Touch implies trust

You could never have touched me if I didn't

More powerful than any evil mastermind

More disabling than any martial art

Is the way you entangle your fingers with mine

The power you wield over me

Such power

I should be afraid

I've been broken before

And yet you touch

And I still want more
