So many broken hearts,

so many candles lit.

Vanilla and lavender scent

fills my nostrils with memories.

So many salty tears,

so many wasted years.

Memories forgotten

that soon were remembered,

just a flash in my mind

through someone else's eyes.

Pain shoots through my body

marking the path of my tears.

So many broken words,

so many wasted years.

Such a wasted life,

with so many candles lit

I can finally say goodbye.
