Once upon a time there was a girl
So the picture told me
Caught beneath a cold glass
In perfect silence
Yellowed and faded at the edges
Found in a watery grave
The story is old and the truth sold
Once upon a time there was a girl
Life stole her innocence
But her happiness and joy
Remained with him
Together beneath the perfect
Silence of glass
