The nothing you say hurts worse than a slap

The silence is louder than screaming

You don't even realize I'm feeling this way

I must be dead and you must be dreaming

The knife in my chest is your silent dismissal

Your negligence makes me bruise

Angry red slashes on soft, pale, white flesh

Yet my smile still works as a ruse

And it hurts worse than death to sit here alone

Out of your favor, out of your mind

You don't even know what you're doing to me

Cause I keep on lying "I'm fine"
