Pastel Skin with a milky glow,
In her mind she does not know.
Touch her wrist & feel her hurt,
Ruby red drops fall to the dirt.
Dancing girls of times past,
The boys ask for dances & she’s always last.
Watch her move across the floor,
No one knows after tonight she’ll be no more.
Her bones are beauty and her life is none;
In her hands she holds the loaded gun.
Pressed to her temple, one clean shot.
If it’s that simple how could she not?
Dresses of black, & sadness’ tears,
She killed away all her fears.
Lying alone in this dark place,
Forever a smile upon her face.
