So, hey, Ms. Golden.

This is our last time talking, as you’ve stated I don’t have to write in a journal next year. How exciting.

It’s been long, even painful, and perhaps  slightly insane. Nevertheless, I think I might miss it. Might is, of course, the operative word in that sentence, but who knows? Stranger things have happened.

I have friends. I have more friends than it seemed I would, and while perhaps this is not directly your fault, the fact that I had enough courage to go up and make friends was rather to spite you. So maybe you did have something to do with that.

I bid you adieu.

With love,
Mackenzie Owens.

So here’s the bitter end.

Well, not quite bitter, but whatever.

What’s happening to this series, you ask? It’s being rewritten! It’s not as fluffy as this version, as it takes place a year before this one--remember she mentions all the angsty bits? It’s not a prequel, as Mackenzie is still in ninth grade in the rewritten version, but the events briefly discussed in this one will be elaborated on. She’s more cynical, less easily amused, and with fewer social skills.

However, knowing me, it will probably end in fluff, so I wouldn’t worry so much about that. The tentative title is The Troubles of Mackenzie Owens and it will probably appear sometime in September. I’m hoping to do NaNoWriMo this summer, so I’ll be able to update fairly often, having written a good deal of it. 50,000 words, here I come! It’ll be good practice for the official November contest-thing.

This is my first ever completed story, and as trite as it may be, it was fun to write and I made a couple friends through it. I LOVE EVERYBODY WHO READ THIS, though I love the people who reviewed slightly more.

The End, schmell ya later!

P.S. Go read Selfish . I need feedback on it.
