The girl in the corner

i still remember the day

death became my friend

the only reason for this was

that life had turned

it back on me

people didn't want to know

who the quite girl

in the corner was

it was me in the corner

sitting with frozen tears down

my ashen face

tears inside were falling

like a heavy rain

drowning my heart

in a blissful sorrow

a thousand eyes swept the room

when i let out a whimper

of the pain now inside

a thousand sounds of laughter

storm at my ears

as i sink deeper into my

corner of pain

where no one can taunt me

i drift into the darkness

never to return again.
