I Forgive You

Flowers bloom,

As do I.

Flowers blossom,

Though, they die.

Love is supposed to be,

Everything you want it to be.

But love isn't a flower,

Love is power.

Love needs to be overcome

By two loving hearts.

Yet, they must learn to work together.

If one heart pushes,

The other one pulls.

If one heart is bright,

The other dulls.

There are struggles on the way,

Trust me, I'm young, but I know.

I really don't have anything to say except

We really do need time to grow.

You're even learning to love again,

For there's another love you have found.

Maybe this love is really true,

In my eyes it is profound.

I don't really mind me,

With no one beside me.

But you insist

Everything that happened was you're fault.

You bring this into every conversation we have;

Let's bring this matter to a halt.

I started the problems,

You ended them.

I swear to you, I forgive.

Because when you feel doubt because of me,

It gets harder for me to live.

Never once have you said you forgive me,

Every time I apologize.

You always say it's not my fault,

Let's just get on with our lives.

If we can move past this dilemma,

You never know what could happen.

But for now

Let's bring all doubts to an end,

I'll always forgive you

And I love being your friend.
