Forgotten Sadness

Can’t you sense the silent sadness

Or hear the soundless cries?

Can’t you feel the invisible tears

Or touch the faceless signs?

Can’t you stop to think about those

Who hold up the ground you walk?

Can’t you open your eyes to see, these

Poppies grow with petals closed?
