He Had Me Forever

He had my eyes to see the world around him,

He had my ears to hear his words,

He had my lips to kiss if he wants to,

He had my emotions, my smiles and tears.

He had my arms to protect and surround him,

He had my hands to hold him close,

He had my heart to beat warm beside him,

He had my spirit, my hopes and fears.

I may give someone else my body,

I may even give away my heart,

But my soul is his forever,

And in that way, we'll never part.
