My world is falling

All around me is stalling

Frozen into place

Stuck in the void

Between awake and asleep

Those around me are dying

I feel like crying

Rage within my veins

Why you? Why not me?

You’ve never done anything to deserve this

Can you hear me?

Louder and louder I become until the glass breaks

It falls, slicing my skin

Blood flowing

Staining the floor
