I’m losing my way

Of what, I can no longer say

My innocence long gone

Am I merely your pawn?

Pain that strikes so deep

A secret too hard to keep

Blood runs freely through our wounds

And I gaze up at the ethereal moon

The cries of wolves carry in the air

Destroyers of the weak, laying all for us to bear

We’re too close to the edge, ready to fall

Are we just losing it all?

Chaos leaves madness in it’s wake

Creating our pained heartache

Are we helpless to stop the cycle of pain

When there is nothing more to gain?

Night set upon our dreams to rip them away

And we can only put ourselves down to lay
