Trystan and Islode

My knight in shining armor

My king without a crown

Your honors run asunder

But you’ve won your great renown

What life it was you brought me

What joy with tragic ends

You always said you loved me

And now we’ve made amends

Across the sea I fly to you

I cannot stay away

Though the light of your soul withdrew

I’ll be with you today

And forever brambles twisting

Will be our love persisting
