You’ve stitched me up inside

All the loose ends you have tied

The needle and the thread

No longer penetrate my skin

But help you with your project

Mending all my seams

The silk you place around myself

Keeps me warm all through the cold

Cut up for me from you

I’ve got a brain and

Now I have caught up to you

Watch me as I fray

The edges are coming loose

The beauty that you made

Finally becomes your noose

No weaver here today

My skin undone, blown away

How did my karma get this way?

My pins are rusting in the rain

Kneel down and pray…

…At the beauty of your noose…
