For Shakespeare's Helena

This was a poem I had to write for my 8th grade lit class. The style was really weird and very specific with the directions for it, although I can't remember the name of the style. Anyway, its for Helena from "A Midsummernight's Dream."

For Shakespeare's Helena

Love unnoticed, lover unloved.

When I was near, he pushed and shoved.

Still, I love him nevertheless.

A fairy caused a gigantic mess.

When I was near, he pushed and shoved.

Once by him, I was loved.

A fairy caused a gigantic mess.

He loved me more instead of less.

Once by him, I was loved.

Now by him, I am loved.

He loved me more instead of less.

A kindled spirit left to bless.

Love unnoticed, lover unloved.

Now by him, I am loved.

A kindled spirit left to bless.

Still, I love him nevertheless.
