In my eyes
I see war over the horizon
With guns aimed at mankind’s soul
Tears of blood flows from the eyes of innocence
Freedom is threatened
And death is everywhere

In my eyes
A child is orphaned and alone
A bullet shatters the window of trust
Life becomes meaningless
People fight endlessly
And war laughs at the face of peace

In my eyes
I see a shadow of hate
Plunging diversity into darkness
Wars are heartless
Peace seems like a dream
And humanity cries for compassion
But still…

In my eyes
I see a sliver of hope
The light of courage shines
Friendship harmonizes
Love surrounds us
And someday peace will embrace us all
