Author's Claimer: STEAL MY STORY AND I'LL SIC THE BATS OF HELL UPON YOU SO THEY MAY FEAST UPON YOUR INNARDS!!!!! -.- And I mean that....then I'll sue you! And......sic all, if any, of my fans upon you!!

Recap: "Yes, Miss, we've decided to 'elp ye." replied Namir, seeing that Jack wasn't much in the mood to speak to the girl. The pirate captain disliked the girl, the air about her set him off. Jack always judged many on first impressions, and he followed his gut instincts. At that very moment, his instincts were screaming at him to trod upon the girl's pride with an insult of some sort, but he resisted the urge. Turning from the girl, and his first mate, he slowly swaggered down the hall and ascended the stairs to the deck.

Laced into the air was the smell of sweat from those dancing, and the smell of sweet bread that the women had baked for the celebration. The deck still shivered by those dancing upon it's surface. A swift, cool breeze blew over the deck, cooling the sweating masses and causing the lanterns to sway slightly on the wires they were strung on. Underneath all the sound on the ship, Jack could vaguely hear the ever present lapping of the sea on the hull of his ship, and the ghostly singing of the wind in the masts.

Sighing, Jack returned to his seat on the stairs and stared at the crew of his ship again. Yet, his eyes weren't focused on what lay in front of him, but what troubles may lay ahead. No doubt, this voyage to Celeste's homelands would be a trying journey. Jack saw it as a test. A test of the endurance of his patience while dealing with Celeste's attitude, and a test for his nerves, which the would most likely grate upon very often on this journey.

Heaving another sigh, Jack rubbed his temple, bidding the thoughts of the next voyage to hibernate. Leaving the fears and anticipation of the journey in the back of his mind, the captain sought to enjoy what was left of the night of dance and merriment. All his thoughts of the future voyage flooded back to the front of his mind, however, as he watched Namir and Celeste appear on the deck.

The girl was bumbling about, because of the meager rocking the ship was doing. Celeste stumbled, and fell to the deck, a sound escaping her lips that was lost on the soft breeze. Namir laughed, and placed a hand on his bandanna as he watched the girl trying to scramble back to her feet.

Jack groaned, leaning back upon the stairs, he hid his eyes from the world. A dull throbbing swept through his head as the sight of the girl entered his mind. She couldn't walk upon the ship yet, even after she had been at sea for weeks. 'This voyage will be very trying.' thought the Demon Pirate, as the throb in his mind worsened.

He vaguely heard Namir tell Celeste, his rough voice carrying over the breeze, that she looked like a drunkard. Then a resounding slap echoed through the air, quieting the crowd of partying pirates. Jack peeked out from under his hand, a chuckle escaping his lips as he stared at the scene.

Namir sat on the ground, looking thoroughly surprised and holding his reddening cheek. Celeste stood over him rigidly with her fists clenched, anger glittered in her eyes as she glared at Namir. The crew stared at the girl, whose head suddenly snapped up at the sound of one of the old women clapping and cheering the unknown girl on. Her face flushed a deep scarlet, seeing a great number of eyes staring at her, as she just stood there motionless, unsure of what to do.

Then, pushing her way through the crowd, a little lavender haired child skipped up to Celeste. The raven-haired girl stared down at Moore, her eyes widening as she registered the child's odd features. It wasn't everyday a child with white eyes and soft, violet hair came skipping up to you, after all.

"Hello, Miss Celeste!" greeted Moore in her sweet voice. A smug, knowing, tone filtered into her voice, "It's a pleasure to have you on board!"
