Spirits of old,

Winds of time,

Send forth yourselves,

And give me a sign.

--

Majestic mountains,

Unchanging seas,

My heart’s eroding,

In the gentle breeze.

--

I call upon the fire,

So fierce and true.

Burn away this hatred,

And make me anew.

--

The air that surrounds

All living creatures,

Calm the storm inside,

Every part that stirs.

--

I call upon the earth,

A forest of evergreen.

Where ebony wolves roam,

Devouring all that’s serene.

--

Clear water flowing,

Purify my soul,

And revive my heart,

All its pieces and holes.

--

I offer what’s left,

To you Mother Moon,

Take these darkened ashes,

And heal this wound.

--

For I am weak,

Needing much guidance,

And in your presence,

I have complete reliance.
