The emotions are there but they don’t sink in,

They cover you but leak away to form a puddle on the floor.

The tears they fall but you don’t feel them,

The fire burns your hands but you don’t feel it,

The blade cut your arm but you don’t feel the pain,

The sun shine on you but you don’t the warmth,

The rain falls on you but you don’t feel the cold,

The wind howls at you but you don’t feel the breeze,

The moon shine on you and you feel the darkness press upon you,

Falling, falling,

I fall,

and never get back up at all.
