Hurt is when your jaw will shake

And both hands will grow cold

Your head will cloud, the scream gets loud

The day when you were told:

‘You’re not my friend, and never were.

And you definitely lack

The traits a true friend really needs.

So leave, and don’t come back.’

They were your friend, you know it’s true

Yes, it’s normal to be numb.

And if they’re not, how’s it they

Could crush you with their thumb?

It’s right to cry…yes, it will hurt

But stay! You can be strong.

But, I’m sorry, I won’t say

If he was right or wrong.

It will die down, and just you wait

You’ve survived the worst, it’s done.

And now you know that you were right

When you refused to run.

I wrote what I felt...
