Once...
Once...
once there was
Beauty
Budding flowers just blossoming
Meadows green and untouched
Trees that caress the sky
Once...
once there was
A land of peace
Unreal to humans
Until they found it
The sweet fantasy
was torn down
Built a mini-mall on top
Of this sacred land
Materialism has
Ruined bliss again
Posession beats
Other-world realms
Yet again
They overlook beauty
With money
How can you do that?
for money always lands
In someone else's pocket
But nature is ours to hold
But when we hold it
We merely destroy it
Animals are long dead
Thanks to our doing
Forests and beaches
Can never be replaced
We've damaged all we can
Just beacuse we it felt it was wrong
Once...
once there was
A land of peace
Unreal to humans
Until they found it
