Faded Memories

Remember when we used to laugh and share a warm embrace?
Remember when you used to put a smile upon my face?
Remember when you used to cry because of the tears I shed?
Remember all the words of love that to me you once had said?
Yes, I remember all those memories that happened in the past.
But in the end I knew I had to show myself at last.

It was then at the very time of your tragic downfall,
That I realized, in my time of need: I didn't love you after all.
They truly thought I was your child, but I tell you, they were wrong.
For love and care and happiness are things that don't last long.
I can prevent who I truly am, what I really feel inside.
My destiny as Goddess of Hate is a fate I can't decide.
And until now, I've been looking through a different person's point of view.
Now that I look through my own, I'd rather hate than be here with you.

Remember when we used to laugh and share a warm embrace?
Remember when you used to put a smile upon my face?
Remember when you used to cry because of the tears I shed?
Remember all the words of love that to me you once had said?
No, I don't remember all those memories because I let them fade away.
To me those memories are just a thing of yesterday.

But one thing is certain: It was at the time of your downfall.
That I realized, in my time of need..
I didn't love you after all.
