The scars aren’t ever leaving

Feels almost s’if they’re seething

Fiery rage burning against me

Causing the pain I wish to flee

Little scraps of notes filled with

“いきたいです。” filled with

“いきたいです。”

Memories of what I used to be

Realization of who is now me

Can’t believe I’ve changed so much

Almost I have forgotten the touch

The pain, the drive, to run to run

Run until the whole path’s done

Imaginary voices, memories

Surround me like faeries

I want to grasp them, hold them

Hug them, kiss them

I reach out and they disappear

As I reach out to what I held dear

Love you, love you, please come back

Never existed, can’t hide the fact

Fear, fear, worry, worry that what I

Love now will soon leave and fly.

Fly away, fly away, cease, cease

And leave me with naught but the memories.

Note: “いきたいです。” translates to “I want to go.”
