All the time you never knew,

All the nights I cried,

All the love can’t fit in words,

I died a bit, inside.

Every single word you said,

Every look you gave,

Every time you held her close,

You sent me to the grave.

No matter how I pray to God,

No matter how I care,

No matter how I dream of you,

You’ve never once been there.

I doubt we’ll ever meet again,

I doubt that bothers you,

I doubt I’ll ever be the same,

But what else can I do?

It hurts inside when you’re not here,

It hurts you don’t love me,

It hurts to have to say ‘goodbye’,

To what can never be.

I never had a chance with you,

I never got to try,

I never loved ‘till I met you,

And I can’t stop asking why.

So here’s another empty poem,

So here’s one more ‘farewell’,

So here’s a question: will I move on?

God can only tell.
