I’m losing my sanity

And my sense of reality

Every time I reach out

I’m only grasping emptiness

Allowing the cascading darkness

To pass through me

Do you sleep silently at night?

While I’m haunted by memories

Images of bleeding hatred

And our broken wings

These tragic visions will not fade away

They cannot disappear

Pain like needles against my skin

I beg to wake from this sleep

Terror feeds away in my mind

Destroying the innocent child within

I try to see through the dark night

But I find myself looking through blind eyes
