Sitting in the Corner

Shut the door
Turn off the lights
Sit in the corner
And pretend you don’t exist

Forget about everyone else,
Cry your fears away,
Keep running like that,
And it’ll just come back the next day

Sit in the corner,
With your eyes tight closed
Sit in the corner,
Hiding from your fears,
Sit in the corner,
Wallow in self-pity
Sit in the corner,
Or make your move now

You may be young,
But it’s almost too late,
Make a difference now,
Or spend your life in hate

You’re sitting in the corner,
Been sitting there all your life,
Why don’t you make a change?
Before it is too late

Sit in the corner,
With you eyes tight closed
Sit in the corner,
Hiding from your fears,
Sit in the corner,
Wallow in self-pity
Sit in the corner,
Or make your move now

Do something now,
Don’t stay so still,
Go somewhere, do something
Haven’t you got dreams to fulfil?

You hide away from all your fears,
You are afraid of all your peers,
You need to change you view,
Your whole aspect on life,

I’m trying to help you,
Why can’t you see?
It’s all for the best
I’m trying to set you free

Sit in the corner,
With you eyes tight closed
Sit in the corner,
Hiding from your fears,
Sit in the corner,
Wallow in self-pity
Sit in the corner,
Or make your move now

Shut the door
Turn off the lights
Sit in the corner
And pretend you don’t exist

I’m trying to set you free,
But it’s so hard when you are me…
