Notes on Chapter One:

First of all, yes, I will be updating the next chapter here, when it is written. However, I felt it necessary to point out that some of the formatting got a little bit screwed up in the upload – namely the italic text. As my firewall blocked it uploading, a very good friend did so for me. This means that I can’t fix the errors in formatting.

The basic idea is that the first four paragraphs should be italic (one isn’t) and a paragraph somewhere in the middle should: the ninth paragraph down. I apologize for the formatting errors, and for having to write this here, but just knowing that it should be in italics can be useful to help the reader understand when that bit of writing is taking place.

The story idea, though, is new to me: this isn’t the sort of thing I usually write, so I’m experimenting. Therefore, I would appreciate anyone’s input on the storyline as I don’t know as much about this sort of thing as I’d like.
