A/N: Thank you to my first reviewer for pointing out some things to me. I wasn’t actually thinking when I wrote this, and I really didn’t plan out how I was going to write it. So now I know to never randomly post something that hasn’t been thought through.
Chapter One: (Redone)
The bell for the beginning of fourth hour rung loudly, and echoed through the hallways. Dustin had just entered through the door as the bells ringing had begun to fade. He walked over to his desk, and slid into his seat. Then he yawned and leaned back closing his eyes slightly; plenty ready to go home.
As soon as the rest of the class had found their seats, the teacher looked up at them all with his clipboard, and then began marking off the children row by row.
“Strange…Matt is never absent…” The teacher mumbled. He shrugged and then began to start the class. “Okay, today is the beginning of”
Everyone turned to the door to see the blonde haired boy holding onto one of the side frames panting and gasping for air. The teacher looked at him with a brow raised.
“I’m sorry I’m late sir, but my sister woke up late. It won’t happen again.” He panted.
“See to it that it doesn’t.” The teacher scoffed.
After a few seconds of catching up with his breath, Matt st4epped over to his desk and slid into the seat. Then while the teacher went to the clipboard to mark him as tardy, he un-zipped his backpack and pulled out his Psychology book, and pulled out the assignment from the day before. When the teacher was done, he turned back to the class, and smirked.
“Now…I just wonder how many of you actually got your homework done last night. Those of you, who did, pass it up. I won’t accept anything partially done.” He said loudly.
The rustling of paper was heard throughout the room, as small piles of paper appeared at the beginning of each row. The teacher started at the row by the door and collected each pile.
“Now, class, we are starting a new project. You are going to study the strength of human emotions. You will be paired up, and you will be given to weeks to do research, write a 5 page report, and make a chart or poster for your presentation. One more thing is, you will find a way to get to one of the persons home.”
The whole class sighed and this just made the teacher laugh as he turned back to the chalk board. Picking up the chalk, he began to write in small letters, the groups that would be working together. Walking back to his desk, the teacher sat down and began grading the papers from the assignment from the night before.
“Everyone stand up and find your partner. Team up with them and begin your project, and what emotion you wish to study.”
The class stood up and rushed over to the chalkboard. The sounds of people who were un happy with their pairing, was well heard, along with those who were happy with who they were paired with. However, when Dustin walked up to the board, he had never even talked to this “Matt” person that he was paired with.
There was a tap on Dustin’s shoulder, and when he turned around and saw a blonde boy with piercing crystal blue eyes.
“You’re Dustin, right? We’re partners.” He smiled.
AFTER SCHOOL
“Alright,” Dustin started. “Let’s go to my house first. My mom is a Psychologist, and we have like a library of books on the subject.”
“Okay. But I have to be home before 7 o’clock to go to Church with my mom and dad.” Matt said. “Oh, and since we both drive, I’ll just tag along behind your car so I don’t get lost.” He added.
