There was a peaceful planet called Suntear. It once was filled with magic, much like Htrae, but the inhabitance have used up almost all the magic. Now only a few can control the magic that has hidden itself in the blood of man.

The people that can control the magic are of a varying form, the rarest are the Tao Masters. Few have the level of power they have, and are feared for it. They are considered neither evil or good as a group. It all depends upon the wielder of such power.

There had been a prophecy in a noble family, that one with a sun around their head and eyes of emeralds would restore magic to the world and bring one touched by the devil into the world.

No one believed it, until it actually came true.
