A pulse, throbbing in the distance,

A heartbeat laced with emotional essence,

And it calls, calls to something deep within

The human soul

Subtle, barely tangible, it flavors autumn and winter

The times of ending and frozen in the cold of immortality

That is the preservation everything and nothing at all

Everything will die, nothing is truly,

Forever

The ideal of life and love eternal is a fallacy

Eternal, a word that will never really be a reality

Only the silver lining to the mind of a dreamer

Saying eternal is like saying never

Eternity, the broken promise of

Longevity

A pulse, throbbing in shaded distance,

A heartbeat laced with emotional essence,

And still it calls, calls to something deep within,

The desire for eternity and the broken promise,

Of unattainable longevity…
