Dragon's Flight

Soaring high
In the bright blue sky
A Dragon's flight
Takes place

An entrancing dance
On the wind
The world at his feet
The sky his kingdom

His silver body sparkles
In the sunlight
As his wings
Stretch across the sky

No fear in his flight
This land is a peaceful one
All twelve Dragons fly free
Their reign a long one

Then darkness descends over the
Sunlit ground
The Shadow reaches out from
Its resting place

A century it lay dormant
Lying in its tomb
Awaiting release
Now the gate is broken

No Dragons have flown
For a hundred years
The price for victory over darkness
Was their freedom

Their sacrifce was in vain
For the cage that held the shadow
Was not permanent
The Dragons must be awakened
