Shrieking in my ear
Without a word of dialogue
You say so much
With nothing at all
Nothing but a gaze
Afflicted with disguised dejection
Dissatisfaction with life
You're sick of the world
And sick of me
But you won't say it
Oh, no, you would never say it

Blind and barely visible
Flying through the night
Hoping someone catches your hints
Echolocation (so high I can't hear it)
Frustration (so tired of seeing you quiet)
Condemnation (don't blame this on someone else)
Desperation (straining so hard for silence)
Internalization (it's all inside of you)
Melodrama at its finest (yeah, that's you)
It's all too overdone
You're all too overdone

Now that I'm on to your tactics
You revert to indifference
No longer associating with me
Cause I know
Oh, I know your game
Instead of feigned communication
You're giving me none at all
Machines built on bitter regrets
And wasted animosity
Will never accomplish anything at all
Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Conversation (doesn't exist anymore)
Hesitation (before every word I say)
Motivation (it left you so long ago)
Determination (to keep me out of your life)
Simulation (of concern is wearing thin)
Melodrama at its finest (yeah, that's you)
It's all too overdone
You're all too overdone
