Raven isn't Ready to fly
Now is the time where your life gets so hazy
You're blessed, you're stressed, and perhaps a little crazy.
The people on the street seem better than being alone
When you hate being home, dread the ringing of the phone.
Knolling like the death bell
The demons come to welcome you to hell,
They lock you up tight in that padded cell
4x4 rooms where no one can hear you yell.
Where word are but a distant memory
Devoid of all sense of rationality
Spoonfeeding the bullshit you're selling me
The voices in my head that compell me.
Drainage bags taped to your thigh
The point where you cant even piss and not cry.
Your screams become that ear-shattering song
The timing is right, but the beat is all wrong.
You see the darkness in things you thought you needed
Pulling all the good things in the garden that you weeded.
Never flowers on your grave
because you pushed the good away.
Embracing the dark hearts of the people you hated
Becomming one in the shaddows all because you waited
To see if maybe it would all work out
now your dying, you're bleeding, and your heart is on the ground.
Trusting, caring, too much kindness
The love you gave got you into this mess.
Don't be so quick to cross out the family crest,
Dont be so quick to push the bird from its nest.
The raven isnt ready to fly quite yet
But her beak is still sharp
And the wounds sting when they're wet.
