Crossing the great, wide ocean

I will finally get to see

The misty coast of evergreen

That stole my heart from thee.

O'er the hill and dale

O'er the great stone walls

Are the castles fit for the kings and queens

Who walked their marble halls.

remembering the days of carnivals

And jests with brave knights.

I wish to travel back in time

To see their honorable fights.

I'd be the lady from afar

The damsel in distress.

Held captive by an evil king

With whome he'd have to jest..

With the knight who'd come to rescue me

The one who'd be strong, brave, and true

Who would fight for the lady

With strength always anew.

And when he has defeated my captor

He would call to me by name

It's then that I'd know

I'll never be the same.

Just as he's about

To forever win my heart

I wake up and realize

It was all a dream from the start.
