Lord I kneel before You a broken soul

It seems as if here lately that I have lost track

I have lost track of everything that is important

I have let my mind drift from heavenly things

I have gotten caught up in the things of this world

I find myself drifting away slowly

Lord I cry out in desperation

Lord I cry out begging for Your forgiveness

Lord I failed You so much

And I don't deserve Your mercy and forgiveness

But Lord I ask You to take me back

Please let me feel Your sweet touch again

I realize more and more how much I need Your touch

Without it I cannot survive

You are the sunlight in my sky

You give me wings to fly

And I am sorry Lord that I have messed up

I ask for Your forgiveness

Help me to serve You

And to think of You always
