In a perfect world

On a perfect day

No one would judge

What I do and say

In a perfect world

In a free nation

I could be a patriot

Without explanation

In a perfect world

My country would be free

Free, of the powers that be

Free, of the poverty I see

Oh how I wish

For this perfect world to be…
