The sunset scarlet as I stare

The wind is warm I do not care

I taste the salt from the ocean

I sway to the music of the water’s motion

The smell of the sea beckons to me

It pulls at me so I’ll be free

Just like the clouds sun washed in red

The visions of deep blue fill my head

I walk to the shoreline

I have no worries of time

As I touch the cool sea foam

I know as long as I am here I am not alone

Because the ocean is for real

It feels just like I feel

We are both alone

We are both at home

In this world of pain

The tide rises with the rain

I put my head under the sea

And the water soon sets me free
