Fading Picture

You consumed my soul

Divided up my heart

Bring me up whole

And to tear me apart

Red and black twice dead

Beat me to life

Cut my brain and my head

Laugh through my strife

Fourteen blades burn in my eye

Nail my hand to your wall

Burn me, but nay let me die

Lie through it all

Like salt in my cut

Like I didn’t know

You mocked me but,

I’d never let you go

And now I look back

On a distant day

Your picture so black

It all fades away
