Heaven’s not Enough

Smile – if you can….

Laugh a little louder – if you’re not afraid…

I walk slowly to my sweet compensation – it’s everything I’ve every dreamed of….

Then I understand – Heaven’s not enough –

I’ve wanted such things, such flawless superficial artifacts – now I had them

But Heaven’s not enough.

My awaited chariot – life on a platter lined with gold – imagination falling into reality –

I’ve got it now – but a smile is not produced…

Because Heaven’s not enough –

I’ve missed out on all satisfactory chances – I’ve lost all true consciousness…to the little things.

I waited for the outcome of the movie…and forgot the scenes in between –

All small glances were erased – and now I’ve come to realize….

Heaven’s not enough….

I’ve flied to a higher place – the top of the clouds….but clouds are not real….

The more I realize – the faster the nonexistent fluff caresses my face as I fall –

I get it now – a little past the point – a bit past the right moment…

So smile when you can – don’t be afraid to be a fool…because…

Heaven’s not enough….
