I wrote this poem for my high school graduating class of 2002, but it's also a good poem for friends who are parting separate ways. Please r&r :-)
The Greatest Treasures
By Jalaier
In our lives there comes a time
When we find a special friend
And our lives are changed forever
For that friendship never ends

But as the days pass us by
We open up a door
We see our future standing there
And now we’re free to soar

But I’ll never let you go
With me your heart will stay
I’ll always be right here with you
Though I may be miles away

So take my hand in yours
Though good-byes will be toldFriendships are the greatest treasures
That we will ever hold

For the graduating Coronado High School class of 2002
