-Broken Mirror-

A shattered mirror
with pieces of us
and I fear
it'll stay just because
we're not together
what we thought would be forever
has proven to be
nothing at all.

Did time break us,
or was it the lies?
Unspoken words of a mime
an unwritten goodye.
It all leads to
a broken reflection
do you see it too?
The broken mirror with no correction.
There on the floor the pieces will stay
because if I try to fix them, I know I'll bleed.
I'll let time clean up the pieces day after day
and say a last goodbye... Goodbye indeed.

I know, my rythm is going off. Sue me. But anyway, I started writing this on Thursday, finished on Saturday. Weird, huh? But its mainly about a broken friendship that can't be fixed, or you'll get hurt again and be the only one laying broken, and no one will clean you up.
